    little corner green..EXCEL 2003 (2003)

    I use Excel 2000 about 6 year... now have installed Excel 2003 (and related Office 2003 programm)...
    I see in mnay cell a little corner gree in a cell where are number...??? Warth is this?
    Is possible to have cells in sheet witouth conrner green? i dont like tath:-)
    Sorry for stupid question.

    A green triangle in the upper-left corner of a cell indicates a potential error in the cell. If you select the cell, the Trace Error button appears. Click the arrow next to the button for a list of options.

    For example, it can appear if there is a possible error in the formula or if you have text in a cell that looks like a number.

    Tony has explained what the green triangles mean. They are very useful because they indicate errors and inconsistencies.

    If you'd rather not see them, select Tools | Options and activate the Error Checking tab. Clear the check box "Enable background error checking", then click OK.

    As I mentioned, it tells you about potential problems with your workbooks, so I'd leave it turned on.
