Welcome to Woody's Lounge!
If you uninstall IE7, IE should come back automatically. If it doesn't, go to the Add/Remove Windows Components section of the Add/Remove Programs control panel, and make sure that Internet Explorer is ticked.
BTW, I wouldn't recommend going back from IE7 to IE6. IE6 is full of security holes that aren't being patched any more.
Is it not true that if your operating system is Vista, you cannot remove IE7. (You can only disable it if you want to use another browser like FireFox, etc).?

Rudi
All's well that ends with an answer in WOPR!
Thanx Hans. It did reinstall IE 6.
This Lounge is just THE VERY BEST.
From what I've found Googling, it appears you can go back to IE6 if you 'upgraded' to IE7, but you can't uninstall IE7 if that's what you started with.
But I may be wrong <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
You can't really disable it. You can make another browser the default browser. There is some software that depends on IE to be installed and available. Besides with Vista why bother?

I am writing this for the original poster Roseglenn, who is my buddy and I was working on his computer at the time we started the thread. The reason we wanted out of IE 7 was that he could not connect with several links or websites. Once we REMOVED IE 7, IE 6 installed automatically and NOW all his links etc. work just fine.
My post was a reply to <post:=680,670>post 680,670</post:> which was a question about Windows Vista & IE7. Your friend must be running XP to be able to uninstall IE7. I'm glad your friend has things worked out.
