    Email toolbar (Word 2007)

I have received a document from a client that displays an email toolbar at the top of the page, below the normal Word toolbars. How do I remove it?

You should see an envelope icon on the standard toolbar next to the printer, just click this (it toggles the mail headers on and off).
If it isn't there then try File > Send To > Mail Recipient

Thanks for your reply. However, there is no envelope (or printer) icon on the toolbar, and there is no File menu.

Sorry, that's because I failed to notice that you are running Word 2007. Hopefully someone with that version will be able to tell you where this can be found.

You can customize the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT), use the 'All Commands' list and add the 'Send to Email Recipient' item to the QAT. This is (should be) the equivalent of the pre-Word 2007 item.
