    1 Form, multi tables (2003)

My form has several textboxs and I want to each to link to a field in a different table. I've tried querying each table and using that query as recordsource for the form resulting in blank form - why?

In general, a query based on more than one table will not be updatable, meaning that you cannot edit or add records.
For the query to be updatable, there should be joins between the tables, and the field on one of the sides of each join should have a unique index.

In many situations, it's better to use a main form based on one table, and a subform based on another (dependent) table.
