    Adding to AutoCorrect (Office 2007)

For some reason, I am having trouble adding entries to AutoCorrect in PowerPoint 2007. I do have entries that I have created previously; today, highlighting the material I want to be inserted does not automatically insert it in the With text box. I type lists of time and function, so my AutoCorrect entry needs to include a Tab. I cannot insert the tab manually in creating the AutoCorrect entry because depressing the Tab key, takes the focus down into the list of AutoCorrect entries.

This is hard to explain. Any idea why highlighting the material I want inserted does not cause it to be inserted in the With box?

I don't have Office 2007, so I don't know what causes your problem, but try inserting a tab character in the dialog by pressing Alt+9 (using 9 on the numeric keypad).

That worked, Hans! I can, at least manually produce the AutoCorrect I need. This will save me some time. Thanks again.
