    Many-to-one endnotes (2007 + compatability mode)

I have a document that's using endnotes as a bibliography. There are several references in the text of the document that should cite the same source in the bibliography. Is there any way to insert a duplicate reference to the same endnote?

Well, I found this which kind of does the job, but doesn't update the numbering/ordering of the endnotes if the text is moved about - but it will have to do for now

It should work, I do similar stuff with Footnotes all the time.

Insert > Reference > Footnote - to insert your endnotes
Insert > Reference > Cross Reference - to insert a cross reference to your Endnote.
After you have inserted the cross reference you should select the number and change the style to Footnote Reference.
If you moved text about then you may need Select All (Control-A), Update Fields (F9) to get all the numbers right.
