    Coming out of STANDBY

From standby mode, a key click will start up the HD, but the screens (dual monitors) stay black. Nothing gets it started again, short of a re-boot. Tried various power options in BIOS with no help. Microsoft USB Trackball Explorer mouse no help 'cause that powers down too during standby. Win2000, SP1, NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 M64 AGP card, S3 Virge PCI card, AUUS K7V, AMD 800 slot A. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS!
