Mailmerge - which source of data (97 )

We have a number of documents that use mergefields from an Access database. Some of the mergefields are associated with tables, and some with queries. Unfortunately over the years we have lost track of which documents link to which tables and queries.

Is there a reliable way of identifying the particular sources of data for each document?

    You can do the following:
    - Open the merge document.
    - Activate the Visual Basic Editor.
    - Press Ctrl+G to activate the Immediate window.
    - Type ? ActiveDocument.MailMerge.DataSource.TableName and press Enter. (You can use QueryString instead of TableName)
    - You'll see the SQL string used by the mail merge.
