    Secirity Center

I have two PCs running Windows XP2 (Home Edition). They are networked and on one PC the Security Center appears to run normally but on the other I get a message "The Security Center is currently unavailable because the service has not started or was stopped. Please close this window, restart the computer or start the SC service and then open the SC again." I have done this and still get the same message on this one PC. The other one continues to appear normal. Any suggestions?

Could your other security software be substituting itself for Windows' own security center?

I do not know. I have Norton Antivirus 2007 on the PC where the Security Center is displaying this message and Norton 360 on the other PC.

    Re: Secirity Center

Apparently the Security Center has been disabled on this one PC. I have re-enabled it according to Msoft KB article ID : 919291.
Seems to be working ok now.
