    Second blank page (XP/2003)

I copy, paste some information into a new Word document. The information when pasted was spread
over four pages. I cut and pasted the information back to a single page. I was able to delete the pages
three and four, however the document still shows two pages.
The first page data is well within the upper and lower margins.
The second page is blank and I checked for any stray marks or formats but could not find any.
How can I get the document to show only page 1/1?

This has happened in the past and I just left it, but when you print you get two pages and the second one
    is blank.

    Any suggestions?

Could you post a sample document? You can remove most of the text, as long as it exhibits the problem.

I think it has to do with the last line (which I included in the attached document)
I seem to have something after the last word.

If you switch to Normal view, and/or display non-printing characters by turning on the "Show/Hide " button on the toolbar, you'll see that there is a Next Page section break at the end of the document. You can delete this by clicking immediately before it and pressing the Delete key.

Oh so simple, but when the brain does not work!

This fixed the problem within seconds.
    Thanks for the reply.
