shortcut to DOS program (SP2)

I want to create a shortcut for a DOS prog that I still need to use, and I want the window to open at the same screen location every time I use it. My problem is that there is no Layout tab on the Properties sheet for the shortcut.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Sorry, I don't think this is what you're after. To do what I think you want, here's an example using the C:WINDOWSsystem32edit.com DOS program:
    1.
Create a batch file eg. test.bat, containing the command line:
      Start C:WINDOWSsystem32edit.com

Copy test.bat then Paste Shortcut

Look at the Properties sheet of the shortcut and adjust the windows parameters on the Layout tab

    Alan,
Thanks for the help. Setting the default properties of the command processor didn't help.

I had to create the batch file and then a shortcut to it, but it seems like there should be a more direct way to do this?
