Moving those Icons. (XPproSP2)

In W98se, I'd have all my beloved icons, in the quick launch bar,
How may I move my current XP and my magical user defined desktop icons to the QL bar,
and have the QL bar constantly on display without being minimised?
Saturdays are a hive of activity, and I need them "on the hip" as I zap
around the OS.
I am ploughing my way in Woodies "XP for dummies" but havn't reached
this advice as yet.

If your TaskBar is set to be always on top, and QL is selected, that should solve your problems.

To add a shortcut to your QL, simply drag it from your desktop onto QL...
