    Discover system files

I seem to recall that it is possible to google a windows system filename (or extension) to get a description of the file. Does anyone know the syntax for this search? Although I may be imagining it..?
    Thanks, Andy.

I find it easier to Google for <code>'file extension list'</code> and you then get a list of sites for extensions, such as:

    Flext.com
    and
    Webopedia

    For filenames, try Processlibrary.com
