    Conditional Dropdown form (word 2003)

Edited by HansV to provide link to post - simply copy and paste the post number including the square brackets <!t>[Post: 585,980]<!/t> into your post/reply; it will automatically be converted into a link when you click Post It

Thanks to Hans I got my first answer in minutes. But I do have another question: As per post <post:=585,980>post 585,980</post:>, which works out "dropdownlistbox2" based on "dropdownlistbox1" entry (for word 2003 forms). How do continue with the macro so you can have "dropdownlistbox3" being determined by "dropdowmlistbox2". Then "dropdownlistbox4" etc.
Finally is there anyway of adding pictures into a word form (always a jpg file saved in ....desktop/pictures/) without having to put in the password to unprotect the document, insert the pictures into a table cell (with fixed row height and column width), make picture sit "in line with text", then protect the doc again with a password?

You can create another macro like the one from <post:=585,980>post 585,980</post:> that will take the value selected in dropdownlist2 and change the list for dropdownlist3. You then set it as "On Exit" macro for dropdownlist2.
This can be extended as far as you like, but since the total number of possible options rapidly increases, it will soon become unwieldy.

If you insert section breaks into the document (using Insert | Break...), you can specify which sections will be protected and which won't in the Protect Document task pane. It's possible to insert a picture into unprotected sections.
