    sound when changing web pages (7)

    I recently uipgraded to IE7. Now every time a change webpages my computer makes a noise. I would like to trun that off and can not find where to do so.

    Try this: Control Panel > Sounds... Start navigation or Complete navigation are the ones I think.

    (As they say, one picture is worth a thousand clicks...)

    No. That was already off like it is in your illustration.

    This noise is in Internet Explorere, not Windows Explorer.

    Yep - turning off both navigation sounds applies in IE for me.

    (You did turn off both Start and Complete navigation sounds? And the Blocked Pop-up window, and Information bar...?)

    It was the information bar that was making the sound.
