    Format with concatenated formula (Excel 2002)

    Hi,
    I have the following formula:
    =A2&" to "&C2
    the result is "23547 to 39428"

    I'd like it to read "$23,547 to $39,428"
    Is there a number format I can use on the A2 & C2 to get it to come over with the $ sign and the comma?

    Thanks!!

    Try this:
    <code>
    =TEXT(A2,"$#,##0")&" to "&TEXT(C2,"$#,##0")</code>
