can't install access (97, sr1)
4 years ago our school bought a bunch of computers for the teachers, and bought lincenses for Office 97 Pro for all the machines. Now we are replacing the machines with new ones. (old ones are being re-formatted). So, I installed Office 97 on the new ones--except I didn't install Access because I didn't think anyone was using it.
Now there is one teacher who wants Access on this new computer. Both she and I have tried to add the Access component, and it seems to install ok, but when we try and run it, it says that it can't run Access because there is no license on the machine for it.
Why would it accept Word and Excel, but not Access?
Do I have to unintall all of Office Pro and re-install it to get it to work?
