    repagination suppression (Word 2002 SP3)

I have some documents on which I would like to completely supress repagination. I understand that printing might not look right if repagination is not allowed, but that is not important in this situation. I have tried unchecking "background repagination" and also fooled around with Options.Pagination = False in my macros. Neither seem to work Any thoughts?

What happens if you switch Word to Web layout view?

Which view of the document are you looking at? If you are in Page Layout view then pagination is a necessary prerequisite. Normal view or Web view have a chance of honouring the setting to avoid repagination.

I'll try both and let you know. I usually work in page layout view, and some of my macros will swithc my documents to this view, as I do a lot of footer work and need to see that. Thanks, Arlene
