    Format Text Box (XP/2003)

Recently I have added jpg photos to several hidden comment . Now when I go to add a Text Box
I find one of the photos as background fill on the Text Box. I am not sure how or why the photo has
shown up, but it is there every time I start a new Text box in this particular workbook. It does not affect any
    other workbook.
I go to Format Tex Box dialog box, Color and Lines tab, then down arrow on Color. I change the fill to white.
This works for that Text Box, but the photo appears on the next Text box.

How can I reset the default settings for the Text box.

    Thank you in advance,
    Richard Spring

Make sure that the Drawing toolbar is visible.
Create a text box and set its background and other formatting the way you want.
With the text box selected, click on Drawing in the Drawing toolbar and select Set AutoShape Default.
