    Change default page (7)

I don't like IE7, but is it possible to create an HTML page to substitute for the default 'Welcome to Tabbed Browsing' page? I don't want to change my home page but it would be handy to have as the default tabbed page my own page with useful links on it. Thanks in advance, Andy.

    Hi Andrew

I don't use IE7 but the method would be the same. Can you not create your own HTML page and store it locally in a folder on your hard drive. Open it in IE7 and then

Tools ---> Internet Options--> General Tab and set ithe Current Page as your home page

    It is worth a try

I don't think that is possible, the only choices are blank or "You opened a new tab". But if you add your custom page to your Favorites, opening it in a new tab is only 2 clicks away
    - Click on the Favorites button.
    - Click on the arrow to the right of the link to your custom page.

It is possible to have each tab open with your home page. If you have custom home page go to Tools | Internet Options | General | Tabs (Settings button). In the top section the last entry is a check box that says "Open home page for new tabs instead of blank page". Make sure that is checked.
