    Printable area warning (2002 (10.6535.6830) SP3)

I find that occasionally when I am trying to print a doc I will get a warning which says: "The margins of section 1 are set outside the printable area of the page. Do you want to continue?" When I click on "Yes" the doc will print normally with no loss of text. The page setup, BTW, is set for "Whole document". The paper size is set at Custom- 5" W X 3" H which is smaller than my Epson CX4800 will supposedly handle but as long as the stock guides are set properly I have had no printing problems relating to paper size. This is more of an aggravation/annoyance than a real problem since I CAN print the docs but, if anyone knows how to get rid of this warning, I would like to hear about it. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hi,

Here is a small VBA routine to supress the message.
See this webpage for details : Suppressing print warning message

Word is aware of the minimum print margins set in the printer driver configuration. I don't see where this information is exposed in any dialog, so there might not be any easy way to edit the numbers to be more realistic. Sounds familiar... there might be past threads on this.
