    Grid snap (2007)

oyoyoy this 2007 is driving me nuts. Where is snap to grid turned off? I know I found it before but this is SO unintuitive for a longtime pre-2007 user!!

    Re: Grid snap (2007)

    Hi Naomi,

It is something to have to get used to <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

To get the snap setting, select the object(s) in the slide, click on the Format Ribbon and then click on the Align button. There you will find the check box to Snap (or Unsnap) objects to the grid.
    Regards,
    Rudi

See Turn the snap to grid and snap to object options on or off - replies for Word and Excel thrown in as an extra for the same price.

Rather than searching for the grid settings try RIGHT clicking either on a blank area or off slide > grid settings. Voila!
