Music videos - free to listen

Hi, All - and Happy Holidays and a Great, Peaceful New Year to the Globe!!!

I don't even know where to post this question...

I stumbled across YouTube music videos and am rather addicted (Pavarotti and Minelli singing "New York, New York" is to be recommend.)

Where can I find similar sites: I don't want to download, I just want to listen - free. I've done Goggle, Yahoo, but they seem to concentrate on downloads.I don't want rock, or anything "modern." I want the standard-type artists: Sinatra, Bennett, Lupone, etc.

    Thanks very much,
    Acer

Keep in mind that the "official" recordings of these artists are copyrighted, so they're not available for free (or if they are, it's probably illegal).
Still, there is a lot of material (old television recordings etc.) to be found on YouTube - do a search for the artist name on Google Video.

    Hi, Viking -

Thanks much for your suggestion. I had looked the site over and they do charge a monthly fee, as you know.

The reason YouTube excited me is that you don't have to do anything but listen - just click on your choice. Like turning on the radio.

I do wonder how such sites get around copyright laws. Certainly the artists and music companies, etc. know what's going on. Perhaps the sites are 'allowed' to play a video for, say, 6 minutes? It's a puzzle.
