    Batch Command (XP & Vista)

I have an Install batch file on a self loading CD with the following command that sets up a desktop folder which I then copy lesson material into.

    md C:"%homepath%"desktopBegXP

However, the Desktop on some computers is located on a different drive. Is there a way to specify the current drive so the file gets loaded on the desktop of whatever is the current drive?
