Delete 2nd page from table (Word 2003)

A friend created a table with 4 columns and 28 rows. Then he made the rows larger which then created a 2nd page. But then he decided he did not want the rows as large and made them smaller so they would fit onto just one page. But the document still has two pages - the first one with the table and a 2nd page with nothing on it. How can he get rid of the 2nd page? Thanks.

    Hi -

    Try this:
Turn on Show/Hide and on 2d page, select and delete the paragraph mark.

If that doesn't work, select the paragraph mark on 2d page and make the font size 1 point.

    Good luck.

As an alternative to the solution proposed by Curious, you can select the paragraph on the second page and format it as hidden text.

If deleting the paragraph mark on the second page doesn't work, something unseen is bleeding onto the second page. Your friend has to make the table slightly smaller or he has to position it higher on the first page. Changing the top and bottom margins for the document might also work.

It isn't possible to delete the last paragraph mark in a document, so you have to make it very small (by setting its font size to 1), or hide it, or get it onto the first page by one of the methods you mention.
