    Can Mail Merge use 2 Data Sources? (MS Word 97)

    I have a mail merge document. I was wondering if this is possible. If field 1 is = dog. Go to another data source (created using a table with 2 columns). Search for dog on the first column, get the value of the second column, assign it to field 2, then do the merge. I need this to repeat if I multiple records.

    Thanks,
    kitty

    Maybe this earlier discussion thread will help: <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=wrd&Number=18777>Can you merge with multi (parent-child) pages ?</A>

    Re: Can Mail Merge use 2 Data Sources? (MS Word 97)

    I was able to use the following Database command. The problem is, after the merge, it is not centered horizontally like the other text on the page.

    { DATABASE d "C:TempMy Table.doc s "SELECT MyCode FROM C:TempMy Table.doc WHERE ((MyCode = '{ MERGEFIELD Codes }'" *Charformat }

    I guess when using DATABASE command, it places the text inside a Table. I cannot find the correct switch to make this centered.

    Thanks
