    I have an app where i can run a mail merge fro access and it output a file on disk.

    Is there a way to change the code to both print and write the file to disk.

    You can print the merged document after executing the mail merge to a new document:
    <code>
    ' Direct the output to a new document
    objWord.MailMerge.destination = wdSendToNewDocument

    ' Execute the mail merge.
    objWord.MailMerge.Execute
    MergeIt = 5

    ' Print the new document
    objWordApp.ActiveDocument.PrintOut
    </code>
    Or you can merge to the printer first, then to a new document:
    <code>
    ' Direct the output to the printer
    objWord.MailMerge.destination = wdSendToPrinter

    ' Execute the mail merge.
    objWord.MailMerge.Execute

    ' Direct the output to a new document
    objWord.MailMerge.destination = wdSendToNewDocument

    ' Execute the mail merge.
    objWord.MailMerge.Execute</code>
