    INSTAL ERROR (2002 SP2)

Just bought new computer and had new Windows XP Pro installed. My first name is Barry, but installer made error and entered it as Larry. This bug's me and I have tried to correct the situation. Successfully changed computer name from "Larry-####" to "BARRY-OFFICE". Have used JV16 Power Tools Registry Find & Replace tool to make changes. Ran first Larry > Barry and then LARRY to BARRY. Result is that in Documents and Settings there are now 2 folders, one "Larry" and the other "Larry.BARRY-OFFICE". Is there any way, short of a total re-instal of Windows, to resolve this situation so that ALL references to "Larry" are removed from the system and registers, leaving only the reference to "Barry" and/or "BARRY-OFFICE" ?

    Re: INSTAL ERROR (2002 SP2)

Why not create a new user named Barry in the User Accounts control panel?
