    Workbook Population (Office 2007)

    I have a Worksheet "template" that I wish to populate in a Workbook, repeatedly.

    In other words, I want to create a Workbook with, say, 75 Worksheets, where all the Worksheets are the same, created from one original Worksheet template. Then each Worksheet will be utilized for a separate company using the same formatting & formulas prescribed.

    Rather than right-click the original Worksheet tab > 'Move or Copy' > 'To Book' > 'Before Sheet' > 'Create a Copy' > 'OK' 75 separate times, is there a means to accomplish this easier, perhaps in one fell swoop?

    You could run a macro:

    Sub CreateLotsOfSheets()
    Dim i As Integer
    For i = 1 To 75
    Worksheets("Template").Copy After:=Worksheets(Worksheets.Count)
    Worksheets(Worksheets.Count).Name = "New Sheet " & i
    Next i
    End Sub

    Change 75 to the number of sheets required.
    Change Template to the actual name of the template sheet.
    Change New Sheet to the name you want for the new sheets - they will be named "New Sheet 1", "New Sheet 2" etc.

    This worked out real nice, Hans - <img src=/S/thankyou.gif border=0 alt=thankyou width=40 height=15>

    Is this something readily available from a Macro library or did you write this?
