    Re: Crypto Q&A

This one was a toughie. The first word didn't come easy - but it was the last word that kept throwing me off track (could have been several different words)... Here, I believe is the solution for #11:
    <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">CHLOROFLUOROCARBONS CONTRIBUTE TO CREATING A HOLE IN THIS LAYER - The ozone.</span hide>

    Re: Crypto Q&A

    Ooh, Ooh. I'll take 10, I think!

    The crypto for #10 is: <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">Boiling water blasted from ground due to volcanic activity.</span hide>
The answer to the question is: <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">Hydrothermal explosion or geyser or "hot spot".</span hide>

    Re: Crypto Q&A

    Jezza and Tricky....all correct! That crypto-solver seems very good! <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Sorry...maybe the clue was not very accurately provided. Try this:

This item was the original discovery that help historians to unravel the mysteries of deciphering ancient hieroglyphics.
Anyone with one last chance to answer. A chocy bar is up for grabs <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

    Crypto Q&A

This is a crypto Q&A puzzle.

I require 2 things from you to correctly solve this puzzle:
    - First you must decipher the cryptogram exactly as it is provided.
    - Secondly, you must provide the answer to the question the cryptogram asks.

If you can provide me both these details per entry, you will have successfully answered it.

Below are 12 such Q&A's to solve.

    What is a Cryptogram?
Cryptograms are encoded English sayings or quotations where each letter has been substituted for another. Each entry uses a different substitution scheme, but letter substitutions are applied consistently throughout each individual entry. A letter may not stand for itself.
