Powertoys Image resizer (Home edition, service pac

I have used this previously to resize jpg images I wish to send by email. It will not work now. I reinstalled it and still no luck. This is a valuable tool for me.
Any suggestions?

Do you get an error message? If so what does it say?

I don't use it, but if you don't have any luck, you might take a look at this free one: FastStone Image Viewer, Screen Capture, Photo Resizer .... I like their products and have used 'em all now, including the one that's no longer free (Capture)...

But do please pursue Hans' question about "what happens when..."

I don't use the utility, but perhaps there is a setting that somehow got changed. There is an Advanced button you can use to enable more options. This includes a choice to make images smaller during conversion.

Try this:
- Select Start | Run...
- Type (or copy/paste)
regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

- Press Enter or click OK. Hopefully you'll get a message that the dll was registered succesfully.
- Try the Resize Pictures option again.

Trying to read that microscopic comment on how to change your signature. If you really DO want to change it, click on Controls ( upper right of page ) then "edit signature" on the left column.

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
Today it is called golf!

It took your admiration a year and five months to shrink?
