Windows Explorer Crashing (Vista Home Premium)
Complete newbie here.
I have a new PC running Vista Home premium. I am continually getting a freeze on Windows Explorer when trying to open anything from the Start Menu. Every action has to be repeated to make progress and the " windows explorer has stopped working" and subsequent messages don't tell me anything.
I have seen a previous thread on this which does not really provide an answer. Unwittingly I appear up to date on patches.
Could someone please give an indication if there could be a conflict with Office 2003 or any other pre Vista software. The Microsoft help pages don't seem to want recognise any issues with Windows Explorer.
Any help would be much appreciated
