    Forgotten Password (2003)

I created a template a couple years ago and it works just fine EXCEPT now I need to make a change to the VBA code and I cannot remember the password!

You could try ElcomSoft Password Recovery Software (not free).
A Google search for lost VBA password returns lots of hits, but I don't know how dependable (and trustworthy) they are.

thanks. It wouldn't be the end of the world if I had to start from scratch.

Unless they removed this feature in a more recent version, StarOffice and OpenOffice.org will ignore the password on VBA code modules and import the VBA as comments. Probably not useful for UserForms, however.
