    Downloading IE6 to W2K (W2k has IE5)

Is it possible to download IE6 via my faster broadband to my XP machine and save to a cd or usb key and then install it on an older machine running Windows 2000 with only a 56K dial up connection? Microsft KB has left me baffled and have googled with no luck so far. W2k machine needs minimum IE6 to install a couple of software progs (printer set up mainly)

I don't know what you Googled for, but the sixth offering from Google for '<code>download ie</code>' to me was Download IE6 SP1, complete with full instructions...

Well I never.....I suppose I was overdoing my search words - typing too many words or whole sentances even when just the simple "downlosd ie6" would suffice! <img src=/S/stupidme.gif border=0 alt=stupidme width=30 height=30>
