    Sound (2007)

I'm trying to make a multiple song presentation with a menu in Power Point 2007. Currently using Microsoft Windows Media Center (sp 2).
These are the problems I have :
1 Lets say we've got 3 slides. We start an mp3 in the first slide.I want it to play across slides for 999 times, this way being able to go between slide 1 and 2 as much as we like. But when we hit slide 3 i want it to stop.
2 We've got 3 slides. We start an mp3 file in slide 1,in slide 2 we've got a movie so I want to stop the mp3 here but in slide 3 I want it to resume.
3 We've got 5 slides.Slide 1 has a menu(you can go slide 2,3,4,5)In slide 2 we start an mp3 that plays through slides 3,4,5.Is it possible to make the song we have in slide 2 play when we jump directly onto slides 3,4,5 from slide 1?(I don't want to add the song to each of them cause then it would interfere when you watch the presentation normally)

    Thanks in advance.

<img src=/S/whisper.gif border=0 alt=whisper width=29 height=17>Rudi, a quick look on echo's web site might suggest that the pronoun he is not completely appropriate..

You may also have missed that she has been a regular contributor to this forum.

    Hi, welcome to Woody's lounge.

I notice that you have not received any reaction to your post. I cannot say that I can help you as I am not the guru on powerpoint per se. I have attempted to recreate some of your problems in the attempt to get a possible solution, but I have not had success. I would go as far as to say that through my discoveries I would believe that your problems could only be overcome with some smartly designed VBA code to force PPT to do these requests. Based on the interface options in the animation tab, I cannot see that your requests can be programmed. The interface is limited!

I don't know if you know a MVP called Echo Swinford. She is a PowerPoint MVP with an extensive site for PPT solutions and tips/tricks. I could recommend that you browse her site to see if there are not options there to assist. See her site here: http://www.echosvoice.com/

    Hope you find a solution!
    Regards,
    Rudi

BIG <img src=/S/blush.gif border=0 alt=blush width=15 height=15>. The funny thing is that I had these spiritual nudges when I was typing the info about HER site! I was obviously sub-consciously aware of this but I ignored those nudges and just continued typing and posting!! It pays to LISTEN!!

I told Rudi that Echo Swinford is female almost 3 years ago - see <post:=472,087>post 472,087</post:>.
