    Windows mail (Vista ultimate)

Seems every time I upgrade my Windows software I loose all my saved e-mails. Is ther a way to copy these e-mails to another location besides the email folders? Currently using Vista ultimate. kgregg@taconic.net

If you were using OE, you could try this technique at Ask Me help desk - I recommend you make backup copies of your .dbx file(s) first.

    Welcome to Woody's!

What email client were you using before? Outlook Express?

Did you upgrade to Vista? If so, you should not have lost the files from your previous e-mail client. BTW, I'd suggest that if you upgrade your e-mail client to Windows Live Mail - Overview. It is the successor to Outlook Express and Windows Mail. It looks very much the same but is new internally. It has eliminated some of the database and other issues with the older clients.
