    Document 'Look' (2007)

When I open a template with fillin fields in the header, the document doesn't become visible until all the fields are complete - I get what looks like an empty document.

Everything works right, but this is very disconcerting. How do I change it?

    Why does it bother you?
If it really does, don't use fillin fields...

Perhaps this will work - Put the fillin fields in the body of the document (formatted as hidden text if necessary) and then use a crossreference to place this into the header.

This doesn't seem like there is an easy solution, so I consider this closed.

It really doesn't bother me - but I'm trying to head off questions from downstream users who will find it disconcerting.
