    Java Screen Refresh (SP2)

I have a Java application I like (Arachophilia) that I run under XP.

If I leave it open, minimize it for a while, and then maximize it, it doesn't update the entire screen. The application window occupies the whole screen, but the Windows desktop shows in certain areas - typically along the bottom.

Usually this will go away with either 1) the passage of time with the application maximized, or 2) a swipe of my mouse through the area that hasn't been updated.

I'm thinking that this is an XP problem - it seems to be specific to one machine.

That sort of behavior is usually a video driver problem. Check for driver udpates.

So far so good after the update.

I'll reply if the problem comes up again.
