Setting up Outlook 2003 (Outlook 2003)

    Hi gang,
Just got Outlook 2003 installed and trying to customise it to my liking.
On the left side of my screen I see all my mail folders but on top of this I have a window with favorites that I find useless.
How can I get rid of it?
    tks

To the best of my knowledge you can't remove the Favorite Folders section of the Outlook Explorer Pane in Mail View. You can empty it (remove the default folders in it), by right clicking them and removing them, but you will still have a "Favorite Folders" section in your Mail Folders View.

Folder List View (similar to Outlook 2000 and 2002 Folder View) does not have a "Favorite Folders" section, if that will work for you.

EDIT: the graphic in <post#=688,599>post 688,599</post#> shows the various Explorer Pane View options.
