Emailing a word document (VBA - Word 2003)

    Hi,

Im looking into whether there is any possibility of using VBA script to email a word document automatically by calling a macro attached to a button or maybe on closing the word document? Im sure it may well be possible with Outlook, but we're using Groupwise here at the moment.

Has anyone done this before or something similar? If so could you point me in the right direction as to the type of coding I would need to write please?

Alternatively is anyone aware of any third party software that can be attached to word that would email the document automatically?

Any help will be grately appreciated.

    Cheers.

You can set a reference to the Groupware Type Library in Tools | References. You can then automate Groupware just like you can automate Outlook.
    See here for an example.
Documentation for the type library can probably be found on the Novell website, but I suspect it will be very technical.
