Show total records in a header (2007)

I have a form ParentInfo with a subform StudentInfo which includes a yes/no field "Active". In the header of the main form, I would like to have a text box that would always show the total records in the subform that are "Active". Is there an easy way to do this? Is that enough info?

Re: Show total records in a header (2007)

Put a text box txtCount on the subform with control source

    =Abs(Sum([Active]))

This text box can be hidden (Visible property set to No).

Put a text box in the header of the main form with control source

    =[StudentInfo]![txtCount]

This assumes that StudentInfo is the name of the subform as a control on the main form. This is not necessarily the same as the name of the subform in the database window.
