    Trouble with Attachments (Outlook 2003/SP3)

One of our work stations has trouble with attachments to messages it receives. If we try to open an RTF file attached to an email for example, an error message says "Can't create file "....". Right-click on the folder...." and then it says something about "permissions." If we right-click on the attachment and try to save it, we get a similar message beginning with "Can't save file..."

This user is logged on as an administrator, so there should be no issue with permissions. I disabled Virusscan to see if that would have an effect, but no luck. Following advice noted elsewhere in the Lounge, I looked at the user's temporary internet files folder and saw that it was empty. I'm not sure where to go from here. any ideas?

If you forward this same file to another user and workstation can it be opened there?

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Yes, that is what this user has had to do for 6 months now (and I'm just now finding out about!)
