    Mail merge data files (2002/2003)

In a previous life (before Office) I remember being able to do a mail merge using multiple data files. I could put merge commands within the main document that would call the second merge data file. When that merge file was complete the control of the data merge would return to the first data file.

Is there any commands within Word using Excel data files, that will let us change data files during the merge?

No, mail merge in Word doesn't work that way. Perhaps you can combine the data sources into one?

Thanks, Hans, I was afraid that was the answer.
