    Reference to FrontPage (2002)

So, I'm testing a workbook on another workstation, and it chokes. I trace the problem to a reference to a RefEdit Control (E:Program Files FrontPage 2003Office11REFEDIT.DLL) - but how did it get there?

(I do have FP 2003 installed as shown - but can't see the connection...)

RefEdit is a control that you can use on userforms in Excel to select a range - see screenshot below. Its DLL would normally be installed in

    C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice10

on a PC with Office XP. I suspect that installing FrontPage 2003 on a machine that otherwise uses Office XP has replaced the DLL, so that it ended up in a non-standard location. If you don't use the RefEdit control, you can simply remove the reference i.e. clear its check box.

Thanks - I'll keep an eye on it. It just seems odd that it only seems to appear in this one workbook.

    (FP2003 was installed some time ago, but I did install Office 2003 SP3 recently - maybe that's wot done it <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>)

I'd blame the SP3, I've heard this before.

And I suspect the problem described below is related to sp3 as well:
