    Firefox ignores CSS includes

    Has anyone noticed this? It's a bit annoying as IE 6 & 7 don't do it and my geek senses tell me Firefox is "superior" but not in this case...

    for example, include to CSS like so:

    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="includes/OIG.css">

    doesn't work in FF. Is there a solution? I have been moving CSS into the html page itself to accomodate FF but this approach stinks of failure...

    TIA

    Change your order of the attributes to the following and see if that works, The far superior browser is less forgiving than the IE series of browsers <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

    <link href="includes/OIG.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

    OK, time to see the files, HTML and CSS if possible as this is the correct syntax <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>

    Can you zip it and attach or is it private?

    sure - I suspect it's bad CSS and am looking thru it (in dreamweaver). I don't have an advanced degree in CSS so I can't see a problem.

    Re: Firefox ignores CSS includes

    Get rid of:

    <style type="text/css">
    <!--

    and

    <style type="text/css">
    <!--

    They are not required, try that for starters and I will load it up in Dreamweaver and see if I can note other items

    Something else you can do is test it using an online validator. I use the W3C one.
