When I use the command "docmd.OpenReport "frmName" , acViewNormal" it sends the report the default printer of the local machine. Is there a way to allow the user to select which printer they want to use instead of defaulting to the default printer?

I'd open the report in print preview. The user can select File | Print... to select a printer and print the report.
