    Form Design (Access 97)

A hopefully easy fix. In form design while editing a label overwrite is on as the default. I want to be able to insert text without overwriting. How do I get this control default changed? At the bottom of my window is some tool bar with a series of boxes the first and longest box says design view. Then a series of 7 smaller boxes, the first 4 are empty the 5th says NUM the 6th is empty and the seventh says OVR(which I am guessing is the culprit). Thanks in advance for your kind help.

    Hi,
If you click in the label so that the cursor is positioned ready to edit it (i.e. blinking within the control) and then press the Insert key, your OVR should disappear.
    Hope that helps.
