    default search engine (IE 7)

I just upgraded to IE7. I can not find anyway to eliminate the default search engine from the navigation bar. I use the google toolbar and I rarely use any other search engine. I don't want to give up real estate for a redundent search window. Is there any way to remove it.

You can create a registry setting for this:
    - Start RegEdit.
    - Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwarePoliciesMicrosoftInternet ExplorerInfodeliveryRestrictions
    - If one of those keys doesn't exist, create it.
    - In the Restrictions key, create a DWORD value named NoSearchBox and set its value to 1.
