    'In this sum ' in the report (Access 2000)

    I need to build a report showing only one figure monthly which is the profit and under this figure to show the profit of one client.Since it is diffcult for me to explain what i want, i am sending an example. In this example the total profit for January is 69,231.99 In this sum included is the profit for Customer 1809 which is 66,152,99.
    How could i show it in the report ? I want the report to read as follows:

    Month February 2008
    Margin : 69,231.99
    In this sum :66,152,99 for Customer 1809

    You can create a new query based on qryMonthyMargin and on qryMarginForKia. Since each returns only a single record, you don't need to join them.
    Return the month field from the first query and the Marge field from both queries, providing a suitable alias (caption).
    You can use this query as record source for the report.

    The picture below shows the design of the query at the top, and the result at the bottom.

    Thank you very much.How could i imrpove the following problem.When for example there are no orders for KIA in January,, the result is the same as for february ?

    Open the query I described in my previous reply in design view
    Join them on the month field.
    Double-click the join line.
    Select the option to return all records from qryMarginMonthly.
    Save the query.
