    Help with HTML code (FrontPage 2003)

    Hi,

    I need some help to modify this portion of code:

    <!t>[
    var fcontent=new Array();
    begintag='<div style="font: normal 12px Arial; padding: 5px;">'; //set opening tag, such as font declarations
    fcontent[0]="What's new?New scripts added to the Scroller category!The MoreZone has been updated. Click here to visit";
    closetag='</div>';
    ]<!/t>

    The begintag sets the initial font style, but I want "Whats new?" to be size 16 and the rest of the text size 12. Also, how do I make the heading Blue i n colour and the rest of the text to remain black?

    TX
    Regards,
    Rudi

    <P ID="edit" class=small>(Edited by jscher2000 on 19-Feb-08 12:47. Colors, link weird...)</P>How modern do you want to go? <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

    This snippet presumably exists in the context of one or more pages. These pages may share an external .css stylesheet. Assuming so, you could separate style from content as follows:

    <code>var fcontent=new Array();
    begintag='<div id='scrolltext'>'; //set opening tag, such as font declarations
    fcontent[0]="<span id='scrollheadline'>What's new?</span> New scripts added to the Scroller category!The MoreZone has been updated. Click here to visit";
    closetag='</div>';</code>

    In your .css file, you would add these rules:

    <code>div#scrolltext {font: normal 12px Arial; padding: 5px; color: black;}
    span#scrollheadline {font-weight: bold; font-size: 16px; color: blue;}</code>

    Make sense?

    Looks good theoretically...

    I'll give your advice a try. Thanks for the tip!

    Cheers
    Will let you know when I have tested it...
